Just below Staintondale is Hayburn Wyke - a hidden gem where there used to be a small Railway Station for those stopping off at the Hayburn Wyke Inn. Now you can enjoy there food menu and / or refresh yourselves with their selection of drinks. A short walk over a field and down through a glen full of waterfalls leads you to a lovely cove overlooking the sea - no cars, nothing but nature - "a hidden cove".
