Between Whitby and Robin Hoods Bay, Trailways Cycle Hire is alongside the Coastal Cycle Rail trail or "Cindertrack" to some. It is also on the Moor 2 Sea route which goes through Dalby Forest, Pickering and Scarborough.
Traffic-free cycle hire on the Whitby to Scarborough old coastal railway cindertrack. Meander your way stopping at quaint villages or remote beaches, along the stunning Jurassic coast. Call at one of the local inns or tea shops for refreshments. Whitby, Hawsker, Robin Hoods Bay, Ravenscar, Fylinghall, Staintondale, Hayburn Wyke, Cloughton and Scarborough. Miles of fun.
Trailways has a 100+ hire bike fleet for all ages and abilities‚ infants to adults. Mountain bikes, hybrids, baby seats, buggies, tag-alongs, child seats and tandems. We also have a selection of helmets if required. Puncture kits and maps are provided whilst hiring.
Toilets and car parking are available for customers whilst they are using our services.

Manned Opening 0930 to 1800 hrs / dusk Easter to November and if another time of year then please ask. We will consider opening up other days through the year by arrangement generally if viable - please telephone and leave request (call may divert so keep it ringing).
